4th Annual Race to Save Student Activities - Save the Date!
We're back for our 4th year of the 5K/10K Fun Run and Walk we started to help save our student programs! Please join us on Saturday, June 8, 2013 for a morning of fun, community, and some healthy exercise!
Our event will once again be held at Cesar Chavez Middle School and of course we'll have our ever-popular Kids' Track Races. Registration begins at 8:00am, the 5K and 10K will start at 9:00am and the Kids' Races will begin after the 5K and 10K races conclude. Check back here soon for our registration flyer. Halloween Carnival, Tuesday October 30th
Get ready to have a spooktacular time at the NHBA/NHSF Halloween Carnival on Tuesday, October 30th, 4:00-8:00pm in the James Logan High School parking lot, basketball court area. There will be fun carnival games, a costume contest, live performances, a jumpy house, and lots of food via the Food Truck Mafia. Click here for detailed information. 2012-2013 Save Co-Curriculars Campaign
The budget for co-curriculars is again short $100,000 this coming school year. In a repeat of last year's effort, NHBA has once again committed to raising money to supplement the co-curricular programs. With the help of Logan High School and the New Haven Schools Foundation, we are once again looking to our community to help support these student programs that are so vital to a well-rounded education. Please read here for a slightly more detailed explanation of our current state of affairs.
3rd Annual Race to Save is in the books!
What a beautiful day we had for our 3rd Annual Race to Save Student Activities 5K/10K Fun Run & Walk! Thank you to everyone who came out to run, walk, or simply enjoy the sunshine at a fun-filled community event that helped raise funds for our district co- and extra-curricular programs. Special thanks go out to the numerous volunteers who helped with the logistics of the day . . . we couldn't do it without you! Thanks for donating your time to make our event so successful!

Many thanks to all the groups who came out in support of our Carnival of Thanks! With your help, we were able to raise well over $3000 to put towards next year's co/extra-curricular programs! And congratulations to Julie Ballard on winning the Chili Cook-Off! The competition was tough, but hers was deemed the best!
